  1. After reading Ryan Sorrenti's comment, I would have to agree with what he is explaining. I agree that we see persuasive writting in our daily life and it is true that they try to get us to buy a product. Most of the ideas he had in his comment were the same as what I had in my comment which is why I agree.

After reading Lisa D'Ascanio's comment I would have to only partly disagree with her idea on persuasive writting but agree with her other ideas. What I dont agree with is that they try to do things or say thing that will make us go beyond what we believe in. If soemone truly believe in something no persuasiveness will change that. Other than that fact, I do agree with all her other ideas on persuasive writting.

  2. After reading Alex Grossi's comment, i would have to competly disagree with him. Persuasive writing is not more effective on any age group in general. The age group of the writing is usualy based on the topic. For example teenagers would not be interested or care about a mens diaper ad no matter how good it is.

After reading Rebeca Petrecelli's comnment i would have to agree wiht what she said. Persuasive writing is used to convince someone that of something and prove that its right for them.

  3. After reading Lisa D'Ascanio's comment I agree with what she said. The media plays a large role in persuasion, and effective persuasive writting can completly change a persoms mind on a product.

After reading Matthew Izquierdo's comment, I am mixed on his response. I do believe that persuasive writting can altar a person's mind, but I do not think that for persusive writting to be effective the writting has to flow and be in in order. I believe that the most effective forms of persuasive writting, use the least amount of words and must be visually appealing.

  4. After reading Franco Stavole's post, I agree that persuasive writing can affect and benefit people in general. It could be used for a good cause but also can be over powered and corrupt in order to persuade someone to buy/sell something.

After reading Sammuts post, I also agree that persuasive writing is key for companies, businesses, everyday life etc. I don't think that persuasive writing is used as a way to always advertise or get some sort of profit out of it, but sometimes just to state an opinion.

  5. After reading Franco Stavole's post, I would agree with what he said about persuasive writing. One important thing that I feel he pointed out was that he also said persuasive writing is used in court cases which is comethingt that when I thought about it I feel I would totally agree with that.

After reading Ryan Sorrenti's post I would also agree with him.I would agree with him because he specified that persuasive writing is not onoly used to persude but also to change one's opinion on a certain product or something else.

  6. After reading Anthony Sammuts post, i agree that persuasive writing is a target to almost all age groups. I also agree that persuasive writing very helpful to companies to use when they want to sell a product.

After reading Alex Grossi's post,i agree that persuasive writing is mostly done to attract peoples attentions and make them buy the product. I also agree that persuasive writing really has a major impact on the teens with all of the persuasive around them these days.

  7. After reading Luca Perris post, I agree with his point of saying that persuasive writing is like an argument. He also included what persuasive should consist of. I don’t agree with his statement that says persuasive writing must have a thesis.

After reading James Buckingham’s post, I also agree that persuasive writing is mainly used in politics. I also agree that there isn’t any particular format.

  8. After reading Matthew’s post, I agree with his comment on how persuasive writing can alter the reader’s opinion about a certain subject. And I also agree with persuasive essays are usually assigned at school for the students to use critical thinking skills.

After reading Frank’s post, I disagree with his point on persuasive writing being used in many articles to raise a point and to create an argument, because persuasive writing is hardly used in articles. But I do agree with his point that says persuasive writing has both good and negative effects because that is correct. A lot of companies try to convince consumers to buy bad products.

  9. After reading James Buckingham’s response, I would have to say I strongly agree with his definition of a persuasive piece of writing. As well as this, I do also agree with his opinion towards persuasive writing being used mainly in politics.

After reading Matthew Izquierdo’s response, I would have to say that I strongly agree with his overall definition/examples of a persuasive piece of writing. However, there is one thing I would like to add onto his definition: The advertisements do not have to be done in full paragraphs in order to persuade an audience, however you have to take into account the age group you will be trying to persuade. For example; a teenager may only need an advertisement with a picture and a short sentence to convince them to buy something, however an adult may need a lengthier and more convincing piece of writing in an advertisement in order to make them buy the product.

  10. After reading Matthew Izquierdo's response, I can say that I agree with what he has said about persuasive writing. The only thing I disagree with, is the fact that he thinks it is only used to persuade people to buy products. Persuasive writing can be used for many other things, such as persuading people to believe in ideas and help change peoples mind on certain matters. Overall, Matthews response on persuasive is a response I agree with.

After reading Christina Bialy's response to persuasive writing, I agree with what she said. Persuasive writing is used in our daily life often and can be found in so many forms. It is used by many different people and is very useful.

  12. After reading Julia Buttiglieri's post I agree that persuasive writing is used a lot in politics. Julia explains that this type of writing is a way to convince another person into following a certain idea which I also agree with.

Afetr reading Franco Stavole's thoughts on persuasive writhing I agree that magazines and advertisements are the biggest form of persuasive writing that attracts peoples ttentions. I do not however, agree with his statement involving persuasive writing in the courts because judge's cannot be persuaded that easily.

  13. After reading Melissa’s post I disagree that that is a way to convince someone to do something that you would like them to do because the whole purpose is to convince them to agree with your opinion not convince them to physically do something. However I do agree that it has a great impact on all age groups and that it can influence people in the small and largest ways.

After reading Christina Bialy's post I agree that persuasive writing has a strong influence on people in our society, and that we are surrounded by it everyday. I also agree that that every form of persuasive witting has a different purpose and target audience.

  14. After reading Vanessa Bragagnolos response I agree with what she has to say about persuasive writing. She said it is most commonly known as the movement of advertisements. I think this statement is true because media persuades us to do all kinds of things.

I also agree with Alex Grossis opinion on persuasive writing. He says that it is a unique form of writing because it is able to convince the reader. I have the same opinion as alex on this. I also agree that it is an excellent way to show the viewer many aspects of the product.
