For my persuasive writing assignment, I selected to write it in the form of a letter. I chose this because I personally prefer to read a simple bunch of words than to piece together pictures.
ReplyDeleteFor my persuasive writing assignment, i selected to write it in the form of a powerpoint. I chose this because you can integrate alot of features into one to enhance it and make the information interesting, like pictures, writing, quotes, and more.

I chose this because I feel like a letter is good way to persuade others and isn't as boring as some of the other options. Writing the letter allowed me to state my opinion and easily persuade others. I also like the simple format of a letter and how the audience can be for any age.

ReplyDeleteFor my persuasive writing assignment I selected to write in the form of a letter. I chose this because for me I feel that I can express everything that I want in a letter. I also like how a letter is simple but it can and will describe alot using only a page or two of writing. Therefore, I feel that by using the format of a letter I am able to describe and state everything that I wish to state. Finally, I also like the fact that since a letter is simple it can be enjoyed by any age.

ReplyDeleteFor my persuasive writting assingment, I chose to write in the form of a letter. For me a letter is easy to read and understand, which makes it appropriate for both a younger and older audiance. A letter is often directed to one person and is short and to the point. I believe a letter is a great way to persuade a person about a specific topic.
ReplyDeleteFor my persuasive writing assignment, I chose to write in the form of a poster. I am a visual learner and I find that posters are much easier to understand. By looking at a poster, you can easily find out the details on a certain topic without sitting down and having to read it through. Posters give you a small written portion but grab your attention using a picture with bright colors. Posters can be placed in stores, houses, shop windows, buses, billboards and many other places that can easily grab peoples attention as they are walking down the road. This is why I have chosen a poster to persuade my audience.
ReplyDeleteFor my persuasive writing assignment, i decided to write a letter. I feel that a letter can easily persuade others because of its simplicity and style. A letter is easier for me to express my opinions in a brief form of writing. When reading a letter i think it is a lot easier to read it then other forms of persuasive writing just because it is short and gets straight to the point. I think a letter is the best way to persuade someone on a specific topic.

ReplyDeleteFor my persuasive writing assignment, I decided to use Letter form of writing. Letters describe a feeling/idea to the audience, it's purpose is to persuade the audience and the writer himself and the format is more to the point, and easier to follow and understand.
ReplyDeleteFor my persuasive piece of writing, I chose to use the format of a letter to convince my audience. I believe that the letter is the best format in this case because the writing is often very similar to having convocation to someone, therefore in my opinion making it very easy to understand. As well as this, if a decent argument is included, it has the potential to be a very convincing piece of writing.

ReplyDeleteFor my persuasive writing assignment, I chose to write in the form of a poster. I chose a poster because I am a visual learner and believe that a poster can interest a person more effectivley. The format of a poster includes pictures and very little words, which is a better way to stay focused rather then a numerous amount of words. Also, a poster contains more creative thinking which can persuade the audience to think in a more creative way to be convinced. An audience would rather find out the purpose in a few seconds by looking at a poster, then having to read through a piece of writing which would take minutes. This is why i selected a poster for this assignment.

Also a letter is very simple and mainly is what gets the point across the best. Lastly a letter is a good choice because of the various age groups that are able to understand it.

I decided to use the poster format because I believe that posters have the power to acknowledge everyones different opinions. I am a visual learner and I find it easier to understand a certain subject with pictures. Posters include alot of illustrations and just a small amount of words,usually found in caption form, to help guide the audience in the right direction. I personally feel that a poster is the most effective form of persuasive writing because it captures the audience's attention faster and teaches you alot about a subject in a small amount of time.

I rather take a quick glance at pictures and minimal writing rather than reading a plain and boring block of writing such as a letter. I also think alot of people would rather look at a poster rather than read writing.

ReplyDeleteFor my persuasive writing assignment I chose to write in the form of a book review. I chose this because I enjoy reading the opinions of others. Book reviews are able to tell its reader what a book is about without making them read it. They have the ability to see the true meaning behind the book through anothers eyes which I find quite exciting.

The ideas are stright and clear to the point. Letters use non formal writting making it easy for someone like myself to understand. Letters can be personal and thats what makes them so unique.

Letters let me express my ideas to someone so it is just as good as a book review to me. The person who recieves a letter can also show it to others to spread the word. To me, letters are a very good form of persuasive writing.

I chose letter because I feel that for someone to be convinced that something is worth reading they would have to read something really interesting about it and it to br recomended to them. in a poster it wouldn't have sufficent data,a book review would be dull, an essay no one would want to ready all of, and the only good choices are letter or news article. letter is a good way to express my own opinuns about a book as well as to give detailed information.

Letters don't tell a story they are just straight to the point.They are also written in first person and they are personal telling the reading how they feel in a situation.
ReplyDeleteI chose to create a letter for the persuasive writing assignment because i believe it is the best way to describe my personal opinions i have towards the novel Lord of the Flies. Letters give the writer the opportunity to give their own thoughts and opinions about a topic and express their views. I feel that letters are direct and leave the reader with a clear image of what the author was trying to get across.
